Our client is urgently seeking an energetic, well organised, analytical, systems oriented and numerate Stock Controller who is able to work well under pressure, pay attention to detail with a zero tolerance to mistakes and typing errors and who can manage staff well and work independently. Candidates must be mathematically competent and have advanced MS Excel skills. Duties include but are not limited to capturing and analysing large volumes of data accurately, forecasting/knowing when to flag non compliances, communicate results within the correct reporting channels and structures, work out differences in cost and selling prices and discount structures, capture and create new stock codes, supervise and manage inventory purchases and warehouse staff, upload information onto OMNI accounting package and excerpt data, flag non compliances and deviations such as pricing deviations, stock shortfalls, over stocking, manufacturing timelines, seasonal requirements, defunct lines, stock nearing sell-by dates, non-rotation of stock, persistent supplier quality issues and other issues relating to the management of stock control, ensure that the prices for the goods sold are correctly maintained and that all supplier increases are uploaded,  prepare reports and PowerPoint presentations for management to highlight stock movements, assist in quarterly stock counts, taking minutes at management meetings, prepare sales analysis reports and reports that enable sales staff to decide on specials and ensure that all stock control processes are followed by warehouse staff.
